About the Timex Indiglo
Timex's Indiglo backlight technology — introduced in the early 1990s — transformed the affordable watch market. Press the crown and the entire dial illuminates in a distinctive blue-green glow, making it instantly readable in the dark. Paired with solid water resistance and reliable quartz accuracy, these watches have earned a loyal following as no-nonsense daily wearers.
Design & Dial
The watch features a round silver-tone case measuring 44.2mm in diameter and 11.2mm thick — a generous, confident size that sits well on the wrist. The dark navy dial is clean and highly legible, featuring bold white Arabic numerals, a striking red central seconds hand, and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. A tachymetre-style minute track rings the outer bezel, adding a sporty edge. The bracelet width is 20.2mm, fitted with a silver-tone stainless steel expansion bracelet that stretches to fit a wide range of wrist sizes.
Movement
Timex quartz movement with Indiglo night-light (press crown to illuminate). Battery type CR2016. Water resistant to 50 metres — suitable for swimming and everyday use.
Condition
Excellent condition. The watch is running and keeping time. The case, dial, bracelet, and crystal all present very well with no significant marks, scratches, or wear noted.
