The Field Gear name gives this watch a sporting identity, but the appeal here is in the combination of useful calendar information and decorative detail. Rather than a simple date window, three separate subdials give the face a more intricate, instrument-like appearance.
The caseback identifies this example as V33F-6A80, with serial number 293008. Its exact production year has not been confirmed, and we prefer to leave that open rather than attach an unsupported date.
Design & Dial
The dark dial provides a strong contrast to the warm gold-tone case and the fine gold-coloured outlines around the calendar subdials. The month display sits at 12 o’clock, the day of the week at 9 and the date at 3, creating a balanced triple-calendar layout.
Broad, pale-filled hour and minute hands sit above shaped hour markers, with a detailed minute track around the perimeter. At 6 o’clock, a blue celestial-style display adds a vivid touch of colour beneath the calendar arrangement. Its exact operating function has not been independently verified, so it is not being advertised here as a confirmed moonphase complication.
The numbered bezel has raised sections and a triangular marker at the top, giving the watch a distinctive sporting profile. The caseback is marked “BASE METAL BEZEL” and “STAINLESS STEEL BACK”, so this is not being described as a solid stainless-steel case.
