About Fossil

Fossil’s appeal lies in approachable, design-led watches with plenty of personality. This BQ2184 takes a confident sporting direction: a substantial round case, prominent numerals and a coordinated dark bracelet give it a purposeful look without an overly busy colour scheme. It’s an everyday chronograph with enough presence to stand on its own.

Design & Dial

The black dial combines large quarter-hour numerals with baton markers and a fine minute track. Silver-tone detailing contrasts against the darker background, while the broad hour and minute hands feature luminous inserts. The low-light photograph shows the hands glowing a bright blue-green.

Three outlined subdials add depth to the face, with a 24-hour display at the top and the remaining displays arranged at the left and bottom. A date window sits between 4 and 5 o’clock, keeping the practical details neatly tucked into the layout.

The dark gunmetal-tone case is framed by a numbered bezel, with the crown and two chronograph pushers on the right. The caseback is marked “All Stainless Steel” and “5 ATM”. That marking records the original rating, not a confirmation of its present water resistance.

The matching bracelet has broad centre links, narrower outer links and a Fossil-signed folding clasp. Spare links are included, offering additional scope for sizing; maximum wrist fit has not been confirmed.

Movement

Quartz chronograph movement. The watch is confirmed to be working perfectly, keeping time correctly, with the chronograph starting, stopping and resetting as it should.

Condition

Very good pre-loved condition, with minimal signs of wear overall. The dark finish and dial present attractively in the photographs. Fine scratches are visible on the steel caseback, with light surface marks on the clasp and bracelet consistent with previous use.
