About the Casio Phys STP-100

The Phys line was Casio's dedicated sports and fitness range, sitting above the standard Casio Sport offering and aimed squarely at the active wearer. The STP-100 is a pedometer model — it tracks steps and calculates calorie burn — making it one of the more practically capable digital watches of its generation. Badged "Walking Calorie" on the dial, it's a reminder that smartwatches didn't invent fitness tracking; Casio were doing it decades earlier with considerably more charm.

Design & Dial

The STP-100 wears a square-ish resin case in dark navy/black, measuring approximately 37.5mm wide with a lug-to-lug of around 57mm — compact and comfortable on the wrist. The dial is a clean LCD display showing time, step count, and calorie data across multiple display modes. Push-button controls run down both sides of the case, labelled Adjust, Mode, Forward, and Reverse — straightforward and intuitive once you're familiar with the layout. The resin strap is black with a textured finish and vent holes throughout, secured with a standard buckle clasp. The caseback is stainless steel, screw-fixed, and clearly stamped with the model reference and specifications.

Movement

Casio quartz digital module. Water resistant to 5 bar (50 metres) — suitable for swimming and water sports. This example is confirmed working perfectly.

Condition

Good. The watch is fully functional and working perfectly. The display is clear and all functions operate as expected. There may be small age-related marks on the case or strap consistent with previous ownership and storage, but overall this is a very presentable example that would wear well from day one.
