A striking two-tone sports chronograph from Rotary's premium R&Co sub-brand, this is a big, bold, unapologetically masculine piece offered at an honest market price for this model. It comes with its original (tatty) box and two R&Co instruction booklets, so while this isn't a pristine full set, it does come with more paperwork than most pre-loved pieces of this era — a nice touch for the collector.

About the Rotary R&Co

Founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1895, Rotary is one of Britain's best-loved watch brands — Swiss-made but with a loyal UK following stretching back well over a century. The R&Co sub-brand was Rotary's premium sports-chronograph line, pitched squarely at fans of bold, tool-inspired aesthetics with genuine Swiss quartz movements. The "Suisse — Hand Made" branding and the distinctive R&Co logo speak to the elevated positioning of this range above Rotary's everyday offerings. Design & Dial

The RGS0007/46/19 is a serious-looking piece — 46mm in diameter with a 24.1mm lug width, it wears large and commands the wrist. The PVD black bezel is screw-fixed with four prominent exposed screws, giving it a sporty, tool-watch feel, while the rose gold case middle adds a welcome warmth to the overall two-tone composition. The black dial is clean and well-executed: rose gold baton hour markers and matching hands provide excellent legibility, a single sub-dial sits at 6 o'clock for the running seconds and 60-second chronograph register, and a date window appears at 3 o'clock. The bold R&Co logo at 12 o'clock ties the whole dial together.

The watch is currently fitted on a chunky vintage dark brown leather strap with cream contrast stitching and an aged, patinated surface — a handsome pairing that suits the watch's sporty-heritage character perfectly. The original rose gold-coloured R&Co pin buckle has been transferred to this new strap. Please note: the strap keepers can slip past the original buckle tongue when removing the strap, so take care when swapping straps. A silver-coloured spare buckle is also included.

Movement

Inside sits a Swiss quartz chronograph movement (Ronda 5030.D), as used across Rotary's R&Co chronograph range. Quartz chronographs offer battery-powered precision with no servicing required beyond a battery change every few years. The chronograph function operates via two pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock and works perfectly. Simply return the watch to any watch repairer for a battery replacement when needed — the Rotary warranty card (included) also references their service programme at rotarywatches.com.

Condition

Good pre-loved condition. The watch is in full working order — chronograph start/stop/reset all functioning correctly, date sets and advances properly, and the movement keeps good time. Cosmetically, the piece shows honest signs of use: one lug has a graze, which has been photographed in its own dedicated image so you can assess it clearly before purchasing. The rest of the case shows the light scratching consistent with a watch that has been worn and enjoyed. The dial and crystal are in good shape with no notable damage. The vintage leather strap shows its age attractively, with a patinated surface and natural character marks consistent with its heritage aesthetic. The original box is tatty and worn but present. As with all pre-loved watches, other small marks or imperfections may be visible upon close inspection of the photographs — please study every image carefully before purchasing.
