About the Lorus V031-5010
Lorus is a sub-brand of the Seiko group, launched in the early 1980s to bring reliable Japanese quartz technology to a broader audience. The ana-digi format — combining traditional analogue hands with a digital LCD complication — was one of the defining watch styles of the decade, and this V031-5010 is a fine example: functional, boldly designed, and built to last.
Design & Dial
The watch features a cushion-shaped silver-tone case measuring 38.7mm wide and 9.6mm thick, with a base metal case and stainless steel caseback. The dark charcoal dial combines analogue baton hour indices and slim hands with a digital LCD window in the lower half, displaying time and day functions. Two pushers on the right side of the case allow you to operate the digital module. The integrated silver-tone jubilee-style stainless steel bracelet completes a cohesive, period-correct look and is secured with a fold-over clasp.
Movement
Japanese quartz ana-digi module (ref. V031) — low-maintenance, accurate, and produced to Seiko group standards.
Condition
Good vintage cosmetic condition. The watch is running and keeping time. The case and bracelet present well, with wear consistent with age. The crystal has some light surface scratches, visible in the photographs — these are typical for a watch of this era and do not affect legibility or function. As with all pre-loved watches, other small marks or imperfections may be visible upon close inspection of the photographs — please study every image carefully before purchasing.
