Its substantial cushion-shaped steel case, textured black dial and warm rose-gold-tone detailing give it a distinctive presence, while the fitted DASSARI hybrid sailcloth strap adds a more relaxed, sporting finish.

Presented in very good pre-loved condition and working perfectly, this example comes with its original Duxot buckle and a zipped travel pouch. A Japanese automatic with sapphire crystal and a striking two-tone look, offered at an honest market price for this model.

About Duxot

The Fortius combines familiar dive-watch features with a look that is very much its own. Rather than a plain round case and conventional numbered bezel, this DX-2019 pairs broad cushion-shaped shoulders with a clean black bezel marked by luminous dots, bars and a triangle at twelve. The rose-gold-tone bezel edge and signed crown bring warmth to the steel case without overwhelming its sporting character.

It’s an appealing choice for someone who enjoys mechanical watches but wants something a little different from the usual suspects.

Design & Dial

The black dial has a finely textured surface, giving it depth beneath the sapphire crystal. Large numerals at twelve and six balance the applied baton markers, with warm metallic surrounds tying them neatly to the broad hands and framed date window at three.

Luminous material fills the hands and hour markers, while the seconds hand carries its own luminous dot. The photographed green glow extends to the bezel markings, giving the watch a particularly attractive appearance in low light.

The brushed steel case contrasts with polished accents and the finely gripped, rose-gold-tone bezel edge. A signed crown and solid screw-down caseback complete the design, with the reverse carrying the Duxot emblem, DX-2019 reference and specification markings.

Strap & Clasp

The fitted DASSARI hybrid sailcloth strap is a particularly good match: a black textured surface, vivid yellow contrast stitching and smooth black backing give it a purposeful finish without competing with the dial.

It is fitted with a black push-button deployant clasp, allowing the strap to open without being completely unfastened. The original signed Duxot pin buckle is also included separately.

Movement

Powered by a Japanese automatic movement with three hands and a date display at three o’clock. This watch is working perfectly.

The dial and caseback carry the original 250m water-resistance rating. This identifies the watch’s original specification, rather than confirmation of its present water resistance.

Condition

Very good pre-loved condition, with light signs of previous use visible on close inspection, including fine surface marks to the caseback. The dial, case and fitted strap present attractively in the photographs, with the two-tone details and yellow stitching giving the watch a crisp, distinctive appearance.
