About the Dreyfuss & Co 1953 Series

Dreyfuss & Co is a British watch brand with deep Swiss roots, founded on the legacy of Georges Dreyfuss — a watchmaker whose Patent 1953 design became the foundation for the brand's iconic 1953 Series. Each watch in the collection carries the "Hand Made · Switzerland" hallmark and the brand's crossed-keys emblem, a nod to the craftsmanship and precision that has defined the marque for decades. The 1953 Series is the brand's most celebrated collection, blending classic chronograph architecture with a contemporary two-tone finish that works equally well dressed up or down.

Design & Dial

The dial is a clean, crisp white with gold baton hour markers and matching gold-tone sword hands, creating a warm, luxurious contrast against the light background. Three subsidiary chronograph subdials sit at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, with a date window at the 4 o'clock position adding everyday practicality. The 40mm gold-tone case is well-proportioned — substantial without being oversized — and features a polished bezel and pushers at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions for chronograph operation. The bracelet is a two-tone gold and silver jubilee-style stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp, giving the piece a classic Rolex-inspired elegance. As fitted, the bracelet is on the shorter side, comfortably fitting wrists up to approximately 6¾ inches with no extra links available.

Movement

Powered by a Swiss quartz movement, this chronograph delivers reliable, accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. Condition

Very Good Pre-Loved Condition. The watch is in very good condition throughout. The dial and crystal present cleanly with no notable marks visible to the eye. The gold-tone case and bracelet show only very minor signs of wear commensurate with age and previous use — nothing that detracts from the overall appearance or enjoyment of the piece. The chronograph pushers and crown function correctly.
