About the DIVE Watches Hadal GMT

DIVE Watches is a UK-based independent brand focused squarely on delivering serious diver specifications at accessible price points. The Hadal is their flagship GMT build — a tool watch with dual time-zone tracking, named after the hadal zone, the deepest layer of the ocean. With 200m water resistance, a sapphire crystal, and a Japanese automatic movement, the Hadal punches well above its weight class. This limited-edition custom build represents the most spec-intensive version of the model and carries an individual serial number engraved on its solid screw-down caseback.

Design & Dial

The ~40mm 316L stainless steel case wears with confidence — polished all over, with protective crown guards framing the crown at 3 o'clock. The rotating 24-hour GMT bezel features a glossy black insert with a luminous pip at 12, allowing quick second time-zone reading at a glance. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an integrated cyclops lens magnifies the date window, keeping legibility crisp. The gloss black dial is populated with circular and geometric indices, all filled with a bright white luminous compound, and the text reads HADAL-GMT / 200m / AUTOMATIC in cool blue and white — clean, purposeful, and unmistakably dive-spec. The standout detail is the blue arrow-tipped GMT hand, which cuts across the dial with real visual drama. Classic polished sword/mercedes-style hour and minute hands complete the package. Lug width is 20mm.

Movement

Powered by a Japanese automatic NH34 mechanical movement, the Hadal GMT offers 3-hand timekeeping, an independent GMT hand for tracking a second time zone, and a quick-set date complication. As an automatic, the watch winds continuously through the natural motion of the wrist — no battery required. High-performance green luminous compound is applied to all hour markers, the bezel pip, and all hands, ensuring excellent low-light legibility whether you're underwater, in the dark, or somewhere in between.

Condition

Pre-owned — Excellent. The watch is in excellent pre-owned condition. All functions operate correctly, including the automatic winding, quick-set date, and GMT hand. Cosmetically the piece presents very well with only the lightest signs of previous ownership. The sapphire crystal is clear and free from visible scratches. The black FKM waffle-style dive strap by Monstraps is in very good condition and is complemented by a stainless steel pin buckle. Spare spring bars are included in the packaging.
