About This Blackfish

This is a contemporary, vintage-inspired watch supplied with Tandorio-branded packaging and documentation. Its Black Fish dial signature and military-style engraved caseback give it a character of its own, drawing on the visual language of early dive watches. The “No Radiation” motif is a nostalgic design feature, not a claim that this is a vintage military-issued watch.

The appeal is straightforward: a distinctive dial, an understated silver-tone case and practical quartz operation. It is a watch for enjoying the look, rather than paying for a story that cannot be substantiated.

Design & Dial

The black dial is framed by a pronounced domed crystal, which catches striking blue reflections in the photographs. Warm beige hour markers create a vintage-inspired contrast, with a diamond at twelve, elongated markers at three, six and nine, and round plots between. Cursive Black Fish lettering sits above the hands, balanced by the colourful “No Radiation” emblem below.

Polished sword-style hour and minute hands carry luminous filling, complemented by a slender seconds hand. The low-light photograph shows a vivid blue-toned glow across the hands, hour markers and bezel markings, adding another dimension to the watch's character.

A black unidirectional rotating bezel carries quarter-hour numerals and a diamond marker at twelve. The silver-tone case has an understated matt appearance, drilled lugs and a signed crown. It is paired with a black-and-grey striped G10 fabric strap with dark hardware; an additional plain black two-piece fabric strap with silver-tone buckle and keepers offers a different look.

The solid screw-down caseback is engraved BLACKFISH, NON MAGNETIC and “IF FOUND RETURN TO NEAREST MILITARY FACILITY”, alongside military-style reference and serial markings. These are described as decorative markings, not evidence of military provenance or independently tested magnetic resistance.
